OSWS Tribal Writers Retreat
The OSWS Annual Tribal Writers Retreat is a cornerstone of our work, a weeklong gathering that brings together Oceti Sakowin writers, storytellers, and knowledge keepers to write, learn, and build community. Rooted in cultural continuity and creative sovereignty, the retreat offers workshops, mentorship, and collective reflection in a space held by and for Native people. Whether emerging or established, participants leave with strengthened voices, lasting connections, and renewed commitment to our shared literary traditions.
The Oceti Sakowin Writers Society’s 33rd Annual Tribal Writers Retreat has been postponed.
The OSWS Board of Directors has been busy planning and raising funds to further support our mission and strengthen our work.
The Oceti Sakowin Writers Society is continuing to expand and grow in a number of good ways. We can't wait to share them with you soon!
